Hey there, if you are hoping to learn more about the best gay and lesbian bars or clubs in Toronto this LGBT nightlife guide has you fully covered. We will also discuss topics like mixed clubs, trans bars, drag shows, the main queer area of town and more!
There are tons of annual and more frequent pride events that we will also be telling you about. And we can’t forget about the best LGBT dating sites in Canada since that is how many people prefer to meet others in these modern times.
We are well aware that gay bars and clubs are not the only way to meet new people so we will try to cover the full gambit. That is what we have done in all of our posts here at NightlifeLGBT so we might as well do it here as well.

Best Gay Bars & Clubs
If you are looking for gay bars and clubs in Toronto for men to meet men you can go off that main list we just posted. Things used to be far less inclusive, but these days most venues have become more LGBT friendly instead of strictly gay bars in Canada.
Best Lesbian Bars & Clubs in Toronto
Along those same lines we are not aware of any straight up lesbian bars in Toronto for women to meet women. The mixed list should have plenty of options for you and if there are no cute girls around to hit on head out and find another place to try.
This may even mean going into venues that are not known to be LGBT hot spots from time to time. You should also check out the annual GirlPlay events which we are linking to in the events section.
Drag Shows & Trans Bars
We aren’t really to the point of having full on trans bars in Toronto, but you can find drag shows that may help you locate ts near you at:
- Club 120
- Crews & Tangos
- Drag Race Viewing Party at Wayla Bar on Thursdays
- Rock N Roll Is A Drag
Of course trans will be partying at all of the various LGBT friendly bars and clubs around town. We do know this scene pretty well, but we cover way too many cities to have a more intimate knowledge on all of them than the local experts.
Our goal is to keep our lists as up to date as possible but we need your help to do so. It would be great if you could use the comments section to let us know if you notice anything dated.
Many of these gay or lesbian bars and clubs can be found in the LGBT nightlife area of Church and Wellesley. Go out in that gayborhood and you will be able to check out the various venues and find out the right spots for your personal tastes.

Best LGBT Dating Sites
In the past trying to find other LGBT people near you for dating or hook ups was not very easy, particularly if drinking or partying were not on your agenda. Gay or lesbian bars were pretty much the only place to search, but thankfully that is no longer the case.
Your current status is of no real importance to us but we are pretty sure that there are some people reading this who may not want to have their photos taken at a gay bar and posted on social media. No matter if that sounds like you or not Adult Friend Finder has been the biggest hook up site on the planet for almost two decades.
They actually have quite a few sites under their network which is not something many people know. The best one to use when finding gay men near you to hook up with is the goal is Men Nation and most are surprised at how many users it has in a huge city like this one.
It combines all of the users on their numerous sites across their network which are not only straight and LGBT but also include swingers and some interesting fetishes. So when you are ready for fast m4m hook ups use Men Nation, and for f4f hook ups use Lesbian Personals.
The last thing we will be mentioning is the world’s top site for transgender dating, MyTransgenderDate. Trans dating in Toronto is more popular than ever before and will only continue to grow as more ts in Canada gain the confidence they need to live the life they know they should be living.
At this point we have covered the Toronto LGBT nightlife to the best of our abilities. You read about the best mixed, gay, or lesbian bars and clubs plus drag shows to party with trans and all sorts of LGBT dating sites to use in Canada. Now choose the best option for you and enjoy yourself.
